Red Panda
Red panda is a mammal native to the eastern Himalayas and southwestern China. Red panda is a small arboreal mammal that lives on a tree. Red panda has a latin name called Ailurus fulgens. It was the first ever discovered by European scientists.
Red panda has red and black thick fur with black foot. Its tail is long (30 to 50 cm) with 12 red rings and brown. It eats bamboo, but red panda is omnivorous. It also eats eggs, birds, insects, and small mammals. Its activities are happened mainly in the morning or afternoon. Red pandas spend most of their lives in trees and even sleep a lot. Red Panda is found mainly in temperate forest in the Himalayas, especially in the foothills of western Nepal, southern Tibet, Sikkim, Assam and Bhutan. Red Panda has become extinct in the Chinese provinces of Guizhou, Gansu, Shaanxi and Qinghai.
